Ally was born and raised in Truro, Nova Scotia. Her athletic upbringing and passion for health led her to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University in 2018. It was during this time that she was introduced to an osteopath who challenged her perspective on manual therapy and inspired her to further her education in holistic health. This journey began with a diploma in Massage Therapy from the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy in 2020, where she graduated top of her class with a specialization in sports massage.

Ally built a strong foundation in health, human performance, and hands-on assessment skills, but was eager to find additional ways to support patients in their unique health journeys. Recently, she completed five years of study with distinction in the manual practice of osteopathy at the Collège d’Études Ostéopathiques in Halifax. Osteopathy is a gentle, hands-on approach that works with the body’s natural ability to heal. By improving mobility, circulation, and balance, it can help reduce pain, restore function, and improve overall well-being. Ally blends her training in osteopathy, massage therapy, and movement science to provide personalized care that supports recovery, prevents injury, and promotes long-term health. She has a special interest in scar mobilization and enjoys helping clients improve movement, comfort, and function after injury or surgery.

Ally’s motivation in health and personal growth also led her to complete a 200-hour yoga teacher certification in India in 2019. She has been actively involved in sport and recreation within the Truro community for many years and is passionate about helping people stay active and moving well. She provides a welcoming, accepting environment for people of all body types, sizes, backgrounds, gender identities, and sexual orientations, and is committed to making her practice a safe space for everyone. Outside of the clinic, Ally enjoys playing volleyball and golf, coaching, and exploring Nova Scotia’s trails, beaches, and small towns. She also treasures time spent with her husband and their nieces and nephews
